The Armaggedon and Wehrhammer vinyls have been delayed as the first pressing company rejected them based on religious/racial content, these are now being pressed in the US. I am expecting the test presses this week so hopefuly the release date is not too far off. I have already recieved the covers and these have turned out well. Preorders are open for those wishing to do so, you will recieve an email once I know a release date to finalise payment.

Recrucifying the Bastard is almost here again. This years event will be held April 2nd (Good Friday) in Launceston. More details in the coming weeks.

The new online catalogue is also almost complete. This untilises the OS Commerce systems so it should be rather familiar to you all, I will however continue to accept the traditional methods for placing an order.

As some of you have noticed and even comment upon, this site is terrible out of date, this must unfortunately continue while my living/work situation remains the same. Asgard is still alive however I am unable to answer requests/emails with the prompt service which is expected and desired by myself. The label continues and all orders are filled so there is no concern with this, just expect emails and replies to be delayed and hindered..

Some great news to breath some live into our lungs, out 2nd September 2009 will be the much anticipated (and even more highly delayed) Striborg "Roaming The Misanthropic Forests" vinyl boxset. This contains Misanthropic Isolation, In The Heart Of The Rainforest and Roaming The Forests each presented on their own 12". This release also contains a Misanthropic Isolation tshirt and a Striborg poster. Coming housed in its own cardboard box this release is limited to 300 copies. The price will be AU$100 plus postage.

Armaggedon's Ave Satan is now out on vinyl though Asgard. Limited and hand numbered to 500 copies, this piece of hatred looks great and sounds even better on this superior format.

Also available now is the Drowning The Light rehearsal cdr entitled Ritual Of Intolerance & Hatred. This was recorded during the lead up to RTB 07 and features the line up for these gigs. Limited to 200 copies.

Four new cds released today;

Orrery "Nine Odes To Oblivion" debut cd from this band which may not be black metal but will appeal to most after a dark apocalyptic metal release. This album could be described as a mix between Drudkh, In The Woods (Omnio era) and early Ulver all with a Blazeberth production but also this is purely instrumental.

Drowning The Light "Through The Noose Of Existance", this is Azgorh's most miserable release to date, otherwise all the typical DTL elements are counted for.

Striborg "In The Heart Of The Rain Forest/ Through The Forest To Spiritual Enlightenment" re-release of these two early Striborg recordings making them available again without paying exorbitant prices on auction sites.

Nuclear Winter "Pain Slavery And Desertion/ Cold Dark Wasteland" Debut album available again, this time accompanied with the also sold out demo as bonus.
